Industrial Dismantling & Decommissioning

Industrial dismantling & decommissioning requires planning and specialist skills far beyond traditional demolition techniques and processes.

Daltons Demolitions Ltd have vast experience in dismantling of a variety of industrial buildings and associated plant & equipment and in addition to dismantling special structures using de-construction techniques.

Our experience includes selectively dismantling plant and structures within and adjacent to live operational process facilities and live services. Detailed planning and co-ordination with our client’s, allows us to ensure that we complete each project with minimal effect to our clients business activities.

Dismantling often requires the use of mobile telescopic cranes for complex lifts. Daltons have an in-house specialist lifting team who can design, plan and execute all lifting operations in line with all current legislation.

Our large fleet of specialised equipment and skilled operatives can perform any type of dismantling operation – operating safely in high-risk environments, employing innovative cold-cutting hydraulic techniques where traditional hot cutting would be prohibited.

Ever changing regulations relating to the assessment for Business Rates make decommissioning of buildings a strongly viable option to our clients.

It can be a costly process to leave an existing structure empty. We have seen a large demand for decommissioning especially in this uncertain economic climate. Buildings can be zero rated where all of the non-structural elements are removed and the building is therefore incapable of being put into beneficial use. Daltons will undertake this decommissioning process for our clients as part of our comprehensive service.
